Rising Sun Entrepreneurs pushing hard to get food pods throughout Oakland

Rising Sun Entrepreneurs is a heavy supporter of the new pilot program, which is also supported by Councilmembers Rebecca Kaplan and Jane Brunner. The Mobile Food Pod program “would begin to legitimize Oakland’s largely underground street food businesses”.  The proposed program could potentially boost mobile food businesses to a whole new levels while at the sam time minimize competition with dine-in restaurants.
